The Dimming Era
“One mummy is never a big deal, the problem I found is that there must be a major cost benifit to creating many mummies at the same time, because there is never just one.” Lontain, the Wandering Bard
After death a body prepared for the afterlife by either drying it out or preserving it with oils and spices is the beginning of a mummy. While this is common in many cultures, those of the dark arts found that these well preserved and kept bodies make for great guardians and shock troopers if you can stand the rot and stench they put off. Due to the drying and preserving, Mummies are very flammable and many adventurers have found a torch to be just as effective as a sword.
