Crocodile

“Not many people talk about encountering crocodiles on the water, it is not because people do not, but those that do tend not to be able to talk about much of anything.” Lontain, the Wandering Bard

The scourge of small boats and communities located near slow moving water or swamps. These giant lizards can tip a canoe and drag a full sized man down until he has drowned, they will then store his festering body and use it to feed them and their young for a few days. While hazardous on land, they should be completely avoided in water. Experiences hunters can turn a good profit both from their flesh which easily can be prepped into hard traveling rations, and from their tough hide which can be used in crafting fine armor or in more fashionable goods for rich nobles and merchants.
