Bear, Forest

“Some creatures, like people have a bad name by relation, the forest bear is a prime example, they are cowards at heart and want nothing more than to eat until full and lie about and work at bringing more bears into the world, making them not dis-similar to halflings, or nobles” Lontain, the Wandering Bard

The smallest of bears, forest bears are feared because they are bears, but they are more likely to run when confronted or hurt then fight like a grizzle or winter bear. Their hides are sturdy and can fetch a good price, but while the least of bears, a forest bear is still a formidable opponent that should not be taken lightly if forced to fight.
